"Through the tender mercy of our God,
With which the Dayspring from on high has visited us"

Introduction

Wall of Giving 2024

At the heart of the Wall of Giving campaign is our commitment to address deep-rooted challenges that disproportionately affect women, especially young female trauma survivors and single mothers. One brick alone cannot make a wall of encouragement. However, each brick represents each of us coming together to give strength and warmth to girls and women who are in need.

Why your support matters?

The Wall of Giving campaign supports the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goal 5:
Gender Equality
, by focusing on female empowerment.

Home

Our care approach focuses on working with young female trauma survivors and single mothers towards having a safe and warm home to return to every night, being able to draw strength from their loved ones and being able to put food on the table to sustain their quality of life.

Community

We also empower our clients to develop resilient family and community bonds, nurture lifelong learners through tuition and skills training, and gain an equal footing to achieve sustainable livelihoods, so that we can reverse the multigenerational cycle of social disadvantage through social levellers.
Your generous contributions to the Wall of Giving will help these young girls, as well as single mothers and their young families, to rewrite their futures with hope, rebuild their lives and restore meaningful relationships!

Keep up the good work, Dayspring. From JC

Maria Chua donated $2,000.00

When the storms of life rage and the wounds of the past ache, hold fast to serenity. Serenity is the calm in the centre of the tempest and the still, small voice that whispers THIS TOO SHALL PASS. Be patient and treat yourself with kindness, knowing that healing happens gradually, day by day. Speak to yourself with encouragement, not criticism; believing that there is still light to be found even in the darkest of times. Keep going! Trust the process and know that better days are ahead.

Kim Lang donated $1,500.00

In a world where there is chaos and confusion, and with a speed of change that causes many to feel anxious, I encourage all who give and receive to experience and offer SERENITY through patience, kindness and goodness.

Resilience
faithfulness, gentleness, temperance

Daniel Chew donated $5,000.00

It’s been a great blessing and joy to walk alongside HCSA in this journey. Praying that in the coming years, HCSA continues to grow stronger, go further, and glow brighter, making an even greater and more lasting impact on many lives. May HCSA continues to give a future & hope to the vulnerable in our community!

Dee donated $5,000.00

What a joy to see God use this ministry, over the last fourteen years, to help many girls and young women make peace with the past, find purpose in the present and renewed hope for the future. Keep up the great work, Team Dayspring.

Kim Lang donated $1,500.00

In giving and receiving, our generosity nurtures RESILIENCE in ourselves and the lives we touch, empowering individuals to embrace faithfulness, gentleness and self-control even in challenging times. Together, we create a foundation of hope that grows stronger with every act of kindness.
